We are looking for a Water Treatment Supervisor whose primary role is to oversee employees on water treatment project sites to ensure high-quality and safe project execution. This person acts as a mentor to the employees under their supervision and works closely with Project Managers and the Operations Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan and execute on-site project delivery by coordinating workforce organization and material resources;
• Maintain constant communication with the Project Manager and/or Manager regarding project progress, unforeseen issues, and key decisions;
• Support field operations to ensure the smooth execution of activities;
• Monitor project team performance and ensure operational efficiency;
• Actively participate in the onboarding and integration of new employees;
• Follow employee training plans and promote professional development;
• Ensure thorough knowledge and application of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) standards and procedures;
• Lead health and safety meetings to promote a safe work environment;
• Conduct health and safety inspections at work sites and during work activities;
• Ensure the team complies with quality control standards;
• Perform quality control activities to guarantee project compliance;
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and proposing ideas.

KNOWLEDGE

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Understanding of on-site operations and the realities of equipment installation and dismantling;
• Advanced knowledge of standards and best practices related to site installation and operations (dredging and work on or near bodies of water);
• Advanced knowledge of field operations related to water treatment and dredging activities;
• Basic knowledge of water treatment process chemistry and operational optimization.

• Ability to supervise multiple teams operating across several sites and on multidisciplinary projects;
• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure;
• Strong hands-on skills with a variety of tools and equipment;

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising field operations teams;
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
